Guardian Angel
O most faithful companion, appointed by our Heavenly Father to be my guardian, I thank you for your protection, kindness, caring and love, and for the benefits you have obtained for me. O holy Angel, watch over me while I sleep. Comfort me when I am sad. Avert dangers that threaten me, and warn me of those to come. Turn me away from sin, and inspire me to do good. Encourage me to do penance when I fall, and to seek reconciliation with God. Do not leave me, heavenly guide. Comfort me in adversity; humble me in success; defend me in danger; and assist me in temptations. Help me persevere in faith, grace, and holiness until I enter into everlasting life. Amen.
